What?

Many people and businesses have issues with cash flow and sometimes it correlates with not getting paid. It is difficult for some people to chase outstanding debts from their debtors.

Why do you need a lawyer?

You may have tried every trick in the book but the debtor will still not pay you. A Letter of Demand from a lawyer may be the force that you needed for the debtor to take you seriously.

If that is not enough, depending on the debtor, the lawyer can initiate proceedings by way of Statement of Claim or Statutory Demand.
