With over 12 years’ experience in the legal profession, Taran brings both depth of knowledge and a genuine commitment to helping clients navigate challenging times. Her career began as a paralegal in private practice before she spent eight years in NSW Government roles, including at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, NSW Trustee and Guardian, and the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
In 2022, Taran returned to private practice to focus on family law, a field where she can combine her legal skills with her compassionate and practical approach. She has experience in all aspects of family law, including parenting disputes, property settlements, relocation matters, complex divorce applications, binding financial agreements, and applications for urgent and interim orders. Taran is known for her ability to negotiate fair and practical outcomes, prepare persuasive court material, and guide clients through the process with clarity and empathy.
She is completing her Master of Applied Law (Family Law) through the College of Law, having already attained her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. She is also a proud member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the Law Society of New South Wales.
Clients value Taran for her ability to listen, provide clear guidance, and work tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside of work, Taran enjoys time with her daughter and two cats, and often unwinds with a well-written work of historical fiction.
